XCHC Cafe is a radical concept for a cafe, it is a place where you enter into Chef Aliesha McGiligan's kitchen. The intention is to connect visitors directly with the chef, which provide an opportunity to appreciate the art of making healthy, delicious food. The menu changes daily, this gives Aliesha freedom to create something fresh using ingredients she sources from local suppliers. Taking real pride in what she does, expect seasonal and hearty lunches, including salads, toasted sandwiches and baked specialities – elegant offerings that satisfy.

CHEF'S LUNCH

Because of the nature of XCHC, the objective of the café is to bring people together to share ideas and knowledge around the creative industries. The Chef's Lunch is a table of friends to be who share a meal family style - including a main course, a salad and fresh bread (dietary friendly).

option 1 - $15 per person catering includes decadent canapé,

option 2 - $11.50/person catering with standard canapé

option 3 - $8.50/person catering with breads and dips

Breakfast - $10.00/person for selection of muffins, scones and pastries.

House Wine

Artist Jane Barry designed the label for the XCHC house wine, more of her work can be found on her artist Facebook page .

About the Wine
Max Wild grew the grapes in a special site near Lake Waitaki ruled by the norwester. The wine is a first vintage and a wild ferment. The grapes have been lovingly grown without pesticides but we are not certified as an organic grower. The wine was made for us by The Pasquale Kurow Winery.
